Easter 2011

We had a good Easter Weekend! On Saturday the kids colored eggs. They couldn't wait for the Easter hunt and dinner later that day at my sister Melissa's house. There were a TON of eggs. The kids had so much fun finding them and when they were done they opened each one to see what was inside. The Easter Bunny came later that night. (Sorry some of the pics are blurry)

Eggs all colored

All the kids minus Maddox. He wouldn't stay in the picture.

I had fun with them this year.

Maddox in the middle of everything....

Maddox never looks at the camera. He's interested in the rocks instead.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Maddox did not want to hold still to take a picture.

Today we went to Kids Club of course and then ate at Olive Garden for lunch with friends.
Loves his weekly carousal ride....

Sadie was so excited to go to kids club today. She hasn't been in such a long time.

Maddox's 1 Year Pics

These were taken in a junk yard and I love the way they turned out. He wouldn't really smile in any of them though, but oh well.
I met the girl who took them through a good friend of mine and found out that we are 2nd cousins.
These are just a few of them....

Maddox is One

Maddox turned one on February 2nd. I really can't believe its already been a year.
It's funny because he started to walk on his birthday. He never really tried to take any steps before. Dale stood him up on the floor and he just took off. He doesn't really show much interest in doing it now. I guess he will when he is ready.
I took him to the Dr. for his one year check up and of course he got shots and screamed.
He weighed 20 1/2 pounds and measured in at 28 1/2 inches for height.
He is 23% for weight and 12% for height.
The Dr. said that, that was normal.

We celebrated his birthday with friends and family at the park.
If you can't already tell it was a farm themed party.
I had alot of fun doing it.
The Birthday Boy!

Food table.

The Cake.
I had alot of fun doing these and they were so easy.

He had alot of fun opening his presents. Of course his sisters were happy to help.

He loves all the new toys.

And the cake. He wasn't sure at first if it was okay to eat it. But once he started to dig in he didn't stop. I knew he wouldn't have a problem, he loves food.

We just love having him in our family. The girls love him so much.

Daddy Daughter Dance

On Friday night Sadie's school did a Daddy Daughter Dance.
First they went with some dads and daughters from the ward to Chick-fil-a for dinner.
They were so excited to go. They talked about it for days.
I got to see some of there dance moves when they got home.
They had a good time.

Petting Zoo...

A couple of weeks ago we went to Superstion Farms with a couple of friends. We have never been there before and since it was only $1 to get in that day we figured we would take advantage of it. Savanna and Maddox had fun. Sadie was in school and wasn't happy when she found out where we were going. Savanna always tells her all the fun we have when she is away at school. Anyway, we got to feed the animals, play in the hay area, go on a hayride, and enjoy the milk bar. They had 15 different flavors. Of course Savanna wanted strawberry and I got chocolate. We should of tried one of their other flavors.
It was fun we got to see over 2,000 cows on the hay ride. The guy taking us on the hay ride said that their are 20,000 cows within a square mile. So now I know why it smells so bad like cow poo when I walk outside somedays. And we don't live to close to their. I was surprised though that it didn't smell to bad when we were there.

Maddox playing on the hay. He loved this.

Savanna was excited to be on the very top.
My friend Rachel's little boy in the back.

Sitting on the tractor.
When we were there I was thinking that this would be the perfect place to have Maddox's birthday party since I was already doing a farm themed party. I looked into it but it was a little pricey. Wouldn't that of been so cute. We are having it at the park instead, just as fun.
