The Big 5

Sadie turned 5 on May 6th (I know a little late on posting) and had her first friend party. I decided to do a little carnival. We played games, face painting, ate popcorn, hotdogs, and of course cake. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun. Sadie was overly excited for her party.

She got so much. Savanna kept asking her if she would share her presents with her.
Sadie was so excited to have all of her friends come to her party. She had a good time.

3 Months

Maddox is already 3 months old.

Fun Project

I have been wanting a head board for some time now. With much searching and comparing prices, I've decided that I would just make one. It was so easy to do and very inexpensive.
Here are the supplies I needed..........
Piece of ply wood the size you want it. (I got mine at Home Depot) $12.
Foam-which I purchased at Hobby Lobby $12.50 with coupon .
Batting $8
I got 4 yards of fabric for $1.50 a yard. $6
Upholstery tacks- $2.50
Staple gun/staples- I already had these.
Only took me about an hour to do.
TOTAL COST: $41

I love the way it turned out. So easy.

Marley Farms

Sadie had her second field trip to Marley Farms. There was a big variety of animals.The kids had a lot of fun feeding the animals. Savanna stayed in the stroller the whole time and watched. After we fed them, we got to go and pet a few of them. Sadie wasn't sure about this since I stayed out with the baby, but she went a head and did it. She had so much fun.

Easter Fun

The girls were so happy about the Easter Bunny coming this year. Savanna kept saying the whole day before "the Easter Bunny is coming tomorrow." Sadie woke up and came into our room very excited that the Easter Bunny came and saw eggs throughout the house. I hid their baskets (thats what the Easter Bunny would do at my house growing up) and with a few hints they found them. Then they found the all the eggs....Sadie seemed to like it.

Sadie got a doll, The Princess and the Frog movie, earings, and of course candy. She looks a little tired in this picture but she was very excited to see what she got.

Baby Maddox got a toy for his car seat and a book.

We colored eggs the day before. This is always a hit. They could not wait to color them.

Maddox 2 Months

Our little guy is 2 months already. He is getting big to fast. Honestly I do not know where the time goes. He had his well check the other day and got shots.

He weighed 12 lbs 12 oz and 22 1/2 inches long.

He loved it outside.

He does smile...I just haven't got it on camera yet.

This is the closest we were going to get.

He only cares about eating and sleeping right now.

His sisters love to play and hold him. He doesn't seem to mind.


Favorite time of day is bath time for him. He absolutely loves baths.

ZOO

Since we were in the area, we decided to take the kids to Ried Park Zoo in Tucson. I have to say it was well worth our time and only 20 bucks for all of us to get in. The girls loved it. We got to see all of the animals up close.

The Polar bear is in there some where. This was there favorite. We watched it swim around for a good 15 minutes.
