Maddox 2 Months

Our little guy is 2 months already. He is getting big to fast. Honestly I do not know where the time goes. He had his well check the other day and got shots.
He weighed 12 lbs 12 oz and 22 1/2 inches long.
He loved it outside.
He does smile...I just haven't got it on camera yet.
This is the closest we were going to get.
He only cares about eating and sleeping right now.

His sisters love to play and hold him. He doesn't seem to mind.

Favorite time of day is bath time for him. He absolutely loves baths.

ZOO

Since we were in the area, we decided to take the kids to Ried Park Zoo in Tucson. I have to say it was well worth our time and only 20 bucks for all of us to get in. The girls loved it. We got to see all of the animals up close.

The Polar bear is in there some where. This was there favorite. We watched it swim around for a good 15 minutes.

Savanna's new pose.

Baby Maddox slept through it all in the stroller.
He was a good boy through that whole trip.

Field Trip

Sadie had her first field to the fire station. We got to tour the fire house and see the fire truck . She was a little nervous to go on this field trip but since parents got to go she was ended up being just fine. When we got home she could not stop talking about it. Now she knows what those big trucks do as she would say.

Maddox-2 Weeks

I can't believe that Maddox is already 2 weeks old. He is a really good baby so far. We had his 2 week Dr's appt. today and he weighed 8.1 and he is 20 inches long. He gained 2 pounds from when we left the hospital and grew 1 inch.

He looks just like his daddy.

They are constantly hugging and giving him kisses.
His cord finally fell off, so I got to give him his first bath. This was him the whole time. He only cried when he got out.

My two little helpers by my side. They love their little brother so much. We haven't had any jealousy yet. We are all adjusting very well and are happy to have baby Maddox in our family.

Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Last Friday night our ward had a daddy-daughter date night for the primary kids. They had so much fun. They had a dinner, danced, and decorated cookies. Savanna could not stop talking to me about it.....she talked about it the whole next day. They love doing things with just there dad.

Christmas.......Better Late than Never

I know its already the middle of January, but I wanted to post about Christmas 2009 anyway. It has been alot of fun this past Christmas with the kids. They are both at the ages where they get excited about Christmas. This year I had there own little Christmas tree that they put all of there own ornaments on. It got changed around daily by them. They also liked to play with there nativity set. When I took down there tree after Christmas, Savanna kept telling me "no mom, no mom." She wasn't very happy with me and kept asking where it was. I forgot to take a picture of there well decorated tree.

Every year Grandma McEuen makes dresses for the grandkids. Here they are modeling them. They turned out cute.
Savanna's cheese smile

Santa brought Sadie a scooter and a pink computer, just like she asked for.

Savanna also asked for a pink computer, because thats what Sadie wanted. She got a little alphabet book that sings and does other things..she calls it her computer. She also got this bike.
Gotta love the hair.

On Christmas Eve Grandma wanted to tell the kids about the Christmas story and the true meaning of Christmas. Here they are all in there pjs ready for santa to come.

Singing Christmas songs. Sadie kind of took charge and started to lead the music.
This is like a dialy thing at our house. She is either a music leader or a teacher.
Overall this past Christmas was a good one. We look forward to 2010 and can't wait for our family to get a little bigger.
