Christmas.......Better Late than Never

I know its already the middle of January, but I wanted to post about Christmas 2009 anyway. It has been alot of fun this past Christmas with the kids. They are both at the ages where they get excited about Christmas. This year I had there own little Christmas tree that they put all of there own ornaments on. It got changed around daily by them. They also liked to play with there nativity set. When I took down there tree after Christmas, Savanna kept telling me "no mom, no mom." She wasn't very happy with me and kept asking where it was. I forgot to take a picture of there well decorated tree.

Every year Grandma McEuen makes dresses for the grandkids. Here they are modeling them. They turned out cute.
Savanna's cheese smile

Santa brought Sadie a scooter and a pink computer, just like she asked for.

Savanna also asked for a pink computer, because thats what Sadie wanted. She got a little alphabet book that sings and does other things..she calls it her computer. She also got this bike.
Gotta love the hair.

On Christmas Eve Grandma wanted to tell the kids about the Christmas story and the true meaning of Christmas. Here they are all in there pjs ready for santa to come.

Singing Christmas songs. Sadie kind of took charge and started to lead the music.
This is like a dialy thing at our house. She is either a music leader or a teacher.
Overall this past Christmas was a good one. We look forward to 2010 and can't wait for our family to get a little bigger.

Sadie's Pre-School Christmas Party

Today Sadie had her Christmas Party and of course Savanna and I got to go. Savanna was pretty excited to "go to pre-school with Sadie"as she would say and as always she had to be right by Sadie's side.

The kids came in and sang Jingle Bells and Rudolph
With her teacher Ms. Nicole

Ms. Nicole gave all the kids a present and it was this book.

Then the kids gave the parents a present. She made me a hand mold and an ornament. So cute.
She is very proud of them.

Then a surprise visitor came.....
... .....and last of all we did gingerbread houses.

HALLOWEEN!

This year the girls were little witches. I was going to have them be something else, but Sadie insisted on being a witch. Sadie had a party at preschool and did some fun halloween activities and of course Savanna got to join in on the fun. We had our Trunk-or-Treat and a chili cook off which was fun and the girls came home with a ton of candy. We still have candy left and they both haven't forgotten about it. Savanna keeps asking "more candy please."

Savanna Wants to be a Big Girl!

Savanna wanted to sleep with Sadie the other night. She fell right asleep and wouldn't let us put her in her crib. I have a bed for her but she insisted to sleep with Sadie. I am not quite ready to put her in her own big girl bed yet.

The next day she wanted to take a nap in Sadies bed. So I thought I would try it. Again she fell right asleep.

Best of Friends

These two girls love each other so much. Sadie likes to take care of Savanna.....and Savanna will do whatever Sadie does. They play so well together. Savanna gets sad when I take Sadie to play group or preschool. She is really bored without her around. Savanna learns so much from Sadie including things we don't want her to learn.

Savanna trying to do what Sadie is doing.

Copying Sadie again............

Sadie was playing dress up. Savanna went and get a dress for herself.

Amazing Jakes

We decided that on Labor Day we would go spend most of the day at Amazing Jakes. We had a gift card that needed to be used soon (I wouldn't go there unless I had a gift card or they had a really good deal going on......just my opinion). We got unlimited rides and buffet. We also got to bowl and do some arcade games. Overall we had a good time.

Sadie really only cared about the bowling.

Savanna would cheer for Sadie after she threw the ball.

Train Ride

Carousal Ride
Chocolate Cups
Goofy Golfing
We used a whole bottle of purell. We washed hands after everything we did. I know, I am a little paranoid...I just don't want sick kids.
When we were leaving, Dale asked Sadie if she had fun. Her response was "sure". I think she was tired.
They probably would of had just as much fun at the park.

How 'Bout Peanut Butter for a Snack

I caught them sitting on the kitchen floor eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon. They were trying to be sneaky.
