Sadie's Dance Recital

Sadie had her dance recital last night. She has been so excited for it. I had to take her an hour before it started. Just before they started to dance they bring her to me and she was crying. She didn't want to do it. Right when all the kids were starting to dance, with a little convincing she decided she wanted to be apart of it. Once she got up there and started dancing she was fine.

Savanna turned 1

Savanna turned 1 on October 9th. She is starting to walk more on her own and is getting into everything. One of her favorites is the kitchen cupboard- oh well whatever keeps her entertained. She loves to play outside and go bye bye. Everytime I open the door she starts waving. Time has flown by, I can't believe she is already one.

Here she is opening her presents with alot of help from her older sister. She wasn't to sure what to do, but Sadie did.

Here is her cake. She ate the whole top layer. She loved it of course.

A couple of weekends ago we got family pictures with my family. Its not often that we all get together, so this was a good time for us to get them done. These are a few of my favorites.

Just a Little Late..........

I've been wanting to post these for awhile now. -Mostly for our family that lives so far away. Dale's parents came at the end of August, from Germany to spend a couple weeks here. We did a lot with them while they were here and one of the things we did was take the kids to the zoo. This was the first time that Dale's dad got to see little Savanna and the Second time he got to see Sadie. Well, the first for Sadie, since the last time he saw her was when she was 2 months old at her blessing. The girls had a fun time with them.

After we were done looking at all of the animals we went to pet some of the animals. Here is Sadie with Grandma petting the goats. Sadie wouldn't touch them. (Thats ok, I didn't either.)

The zoo has a splash park and the girls just loved it.

Savanna would just sit by this sprinkler and waited for the water to come up.

This was her expression everytime. She had a good time.

After they got out of there suits, they rode the carousal with G'ma and G'pa. And then they took them to get a little something at the souviner shop.

Dance Class.....

Sadie goes to dance every Wednesday. She loves going. She always comes home and shows me some of the moves she has learned. I can't wait until the recital to see what she has learned. Here are some pictures of her.

Silly Girls!

Sadie loves her baby sister so much. Sadie will play around Savanna all day while she just sits and watches her. Just about everyday when Savanna is napping, Sadie will keep telling me that it is time for her to wake up so she can play with her. I think she gets bored and wants somebody besides me to play with. Sadie acts like she is Savanna's mom sometimes. I will catch her changing her diaper while Savanna is just laying there stairing at her, (she never holds still for me). The other day Sadie had to push her in the umbrella stroller and she kept talking to Savanna in her baby voice.

Savanna kept trying to get in this until I finally put her in it. She was smooshed, but she loved it.


Sadie loves to pull Savanna around in the "dragon" (as Sadie will say it). Of course Savanna loves it just as much as Sadie does. She will always put her purse in there and they will go to the store, which will be the other room.

Its Been Awhile................

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted anything. I know I need to be better at updating. Nothing to exciting has been going on here.........only the fact that life just keeps moving on. Here are some pictures of the girls. They are growing way to fast.

Savanna is almost 10 months old and is all over the place. She is a master at crawling and can pull herself up onto things and can now stand by herself. I can't believe how fast she has grown.

No, we don't leave the house like this. Everytime I turn around, Sadie is wearing something else. This is one of the combinations she came up with the other day. She gets so excited when she dressed herself. I have been telling her how big she is and she always tells me, "I know, I am 3."

Savanna playing with her favorite thing......the DVD player. She always takes the volume knob off and plays with it. Why is it that babies like to play with everything, but there toys.

Everytime I get the camera out, Savanna always starts to smile. She knows exactly what to do.
