What A Good Deal!

Today I went to CVS pharmacy and check out what I got for only $1.65 and thats including tax.

I have seen so many other blogs who do this and thought that I would give it a try. I have always used coupons when I go grocery shopping and saving a little money here and there. But now I am hooked on going to CVS and Walgreens and buying the things that are on sale and using coupons for them and getting most items really cheap or for free. Also, alot of the items that I get there I get register rewards back. This was one of my first attempts and I thought I did pretty good. The total would of been less but the kids got the gummy bears for a treat that cost $.99.

OH SAVANNA!

The other night when I was giving the girls a bath, I took Savanna out first to dress her and let Sadie stay in to play a little more. After I got her pjs on, I was putting things away in her room and she went back into the bathroom. Sadie kept telling me "mom Savanna is in here." I kept calling her to come here and she wasn't coming. So I went in the bathroom and this is what I saw................

Yes, she climbed into the bath tub with her pjs on. Apparently she was not done taking a bath.

My Two Favorite Little People

Children are getting so big. Sadie is going to be 4 in May and Savanna is going to be 18 months in April. I can honestly say that I am a little to excited for her to be in nursery. Can't wait! She is quite the charactor and developing quite the personality. Everytime I ask her a question, she always shakes her head. When I ask her if she is ready to eat she shakes it really hard. The child's favorite thing to do is eat. She is so funny to watch. She is starting to talk more and more each day. Here are some of the words she says now.
Ma ma
Da da
nack (snack) --She loves to eat.
yuk
more
that
Sadie
bye bye
bow
pretty
eat
book
bike
I'm sure there are more, just can't think of them right now.

Sadie is now in Sunbeams and is enjoying it. I substituted in her class a couple of weeks ago, and when I was teaching the lesson she tried to give it herself. She knows some of the primary songs and tries to sing the others she doesn't quite know yet. I'm surprised that she listens so well, I just wish that she listened that well at home- I know it will never happen. She already knows the first article of faith. She had to give a talk in primary a couple of weeks ago and wasn't even scared. Just about every sunday when we get home from church she teaches me and Dale a lesson, or her imaginary friends. She has an imaginary tiger that is green. Its kind of funny watching her come up with these things. She loves to take care of her sister.

They play well together and Savanna copies everything her sister does.
Here, they are being little mommies.

Savanna loves little Maddie ( the baby we watch during the day). She always kisses and hugs her and shares her toys with her. We are in the same ward, and everytime Savanna sees her come in, she gets really excited, and wants to go see her.
Sadie also likes to help me take care of her.
Sadie doing her favorite pose.

I like it when Savanna laughs at her sister when they're playing.
Savanna also thinks it is so funny to hit her mom and dad in the face-she laughs so hard after she does it. Little stinker.
Savanna is a happy girl.

I thought this was funny. She took Sadie's corn from her plate and ate it all. Sadie didn't even take a bite.

I went into Sadie's room the other night to check on her and this is what I saw.
I didn't hear a thing, who knows how long she has been like this.

Savanna does this funny face. It's funny in person. Sadie use to do it too when she was around the same age.

These next two pictures are of Savanna showing off her new trick. She trys to stand her bike without holding on. She is crazy.

I love her face right here.

Here is a video of another trick of Savanna's. She brings the stool from the bathroom, puts it by the couch and climbs right up. She is so proud of herself and thinks she is so big.

Park, Snowball Fight and Hot Chocolate

Today at Sadie's class, they got to do a snowball fight with marshmellows and have hot chocolate. Parents and syblings were allowed to come today.

Sadie had alot of fun throwing her marshmellows and then gathering them all up.
Savanna is begging her for some of her marshmellows.
Not to eat though- to throw.
Sadie playing with Ms Patty.
After they were done they went back to their classroom and had hot chocolate.

Swinging....They love this.

Savanna found her new love....swinging.
She laughed the whole time.
They had alot of fun at the park and were so tired when we got home. They both took long naps. Maybe we should do this more often.

How We Spent Our Christmas

This year we decided to open presents at home and then head to Thatcher after. It was fun to see how excited the girls were when they saw what they got. Savanna wasn't to interested in opening presents. Here are a few pictures.

This was after all the unwrapping.

While we were in Thatcher it snowed a couple days after Christmas. This is what we woke up to one morning. It doesn't snow in Thatcher very often.

Here is Sadie and Savanna with there cousins getting ready to play in the snow.
Every year my mom makes all the grandkids a Christmas dress. These are the ones she made this year. They turned out really cute.
This was at our ward party. They weren't afraid to sit on Santa's lap this time. Sadie told him everything that she wanted. The man who was santa from our ward came over a couple of nights later to bring the girls a doll for each of them. It was very nice of him.
